The information Kindspan handles, why it is used, who supports the service, and the choices available to you.
Kindspan does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Veterinary files use private storage. Extracted candidates cannot silently overwrite a confirmed fact or plan.
Contact us from the account email. We verify requests and explain any lawful or technical limits.
This Privacy Notice explains how Kindspan collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you visit the website, build or save a free Longevity Plan, access an account, track a dog’s care, upload veterinary records, receive email, use a paid service if one becomes available, or contact us.
Kindspan is an educational and organizational service for dog owners. Regardless of whether a particular health-privacy law applies, we treat account-linked dog records and care history as sensitive and restrict their use and access.
The account service is intended for adults in the United States. Do not create an account or submit personal information if you are under 18.
Do not submit human medical records, complete payment-card details, government identifiers, passwords, credentials, or information unrelated to the dog’s care.
The browser may temporarily store onboarding progress and answers in session storage. It may also store a pending account-save package, account context, and free-versus-membership preference in local storage so the requested flow can continue on the same device. You can clear browser storage through your browser settings, but doing so may remove unfinished progress or device context.
Our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process request information such as IP address, device and browser details, page or event metadata, referral information, timestamps, diagnostic information, and security signals. Kindspan uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate website and product measurement and does not intentionally place assessment answers, account emails, record contents, or tracker values into analytics events.
Kindspan does not currently use third-party advertising pixels or cross-site behavioral advertising trackers. If that changes, we will update this notice and add any consent or opt-out control required before activating them.
We do not use private account data, dog profiles, veterinary records, or plan content to train a generalized artificial-intelligence model or publish research without a separate, explicit authorization.
If you upload a supported veterinary record, Kindspan stores the original file in private storage and related metadata in the account database. Access is limited through authenticated account and dog-level authorization rules. You must be the dog’s owner or an authorized caregiver and have authority to provide the file.
A file may enter a controlled processing queue. Any extracted value remains separate from the active profile unless the applicable verification rules allow it to be reviewed or accepted. Uploading a record does not silently overwrite an owner-reported fact or change a published plan.
No outside record-extraction provider is authorized merely because the product contains processing infrastructure. We will update this notice and the relevant collection notice before sending records to a new category of provider.
Kindspan uses Supabase for account authentication, application databases, and private file storage; Vercel for website hosting, functions, security, diagnostics, and aggregate analytics; and Resend for requested plans, sign-in or service messages, delivery events, and separately consented marketing.
If working paid checkout is made available and you choose to use it, Stripe processes payment methods and transactions under its own privacy notice. Kindspan may receive customer, subscription, price, invoice, status, date, and limited audit identifiers. Kindspan does not receive or store complete card numbers.
Providers may process information only for contracted services and their lawful business operations, subject to their terms and our configuration. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, complete a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards, or respond to your direction.
Kindspan does not sell personal information. Kindspan does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising and does not use private account information for targeted advertising.
Schema fields or future-feature descriptions for partner transfers, research, clinics, diagnostics, supplements, or commerce do not mean those transfers occur. A new secondary use or partner transfer requires an approved purpose, an updated notice, and consent or another lawful basis where required.
We may create aggregate or de-identified information designed not to identify you and use it for operating, securing, and improving the Service. We do not attempt to reidentify information maintained as de-identified.
Requesting a plan, creating an account, or signing in does not by itself subscribe you to marketing. The Kindspan Letter and promotional messages require a separate, optional choice. You can withdraw that choice through the unsubscribe method in a marketing message or by emailing hello@joinkindspan.com.
We may still send requested or necessary non-marketing messages, such as a plan you asked for, sign-in links, account-security notices, privacy-request updates, and transaction or service notices. We retain suppression information needed to honor an opt-out.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described, including maintaining a longitudinal account and plan history, providing requested services, preserving source and consent integrity, securing the Service, resolving disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Retention depends on the information type, account status, sensitivity, legal requirements, operational need, and whether deletion or de-identification is feasible.
Account, dog-profile, plan, tracking, source, and record information generally remains while the account is active. Short-lived security, request, delivery, and processing information may be kept for shorter operational periods. Consent, suppression, transaction, security, and legal records may be kept longer where needed to prove compliance, prevent abuse, or meet legal obligations.
A verified deletion request begins a controlled review. We delete or de-identify information that is no longer required, subject to security, fraud, transaction, backup, legal, source-integrity, and dispute exceptions. Residual backup copies may remain until overwritten under the provider’s backup cycle and are not restored for ordinary product use.
You can review and correct supported profile facts in the dashboard, download a limited JSON snapshot of supported current dashboard information, and sign out the current device. Signing out does not delete server-side information, and the current snapshot is not a complete account export or original-record download.
You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete personal information, or withdraw a consent that can be withdrawn, by emailing hello@joinkindspan.com from the account address. Tell us the request and the account or dog it concerns. We will verify identity and authority, confirm scope, and explain the result or any lawful limitation. Authorized agents may be asked for signed authority and direct identity confirmation.
We extend these request channels to account holders regardless of state, although particular rights, deadlines, exceptions, and appeal rights depend on applicable law. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying with “Privacy appeal” and the reason you believe the decision should be reconsidered. You may also contact your state attorney general or another regulator where applicable.
Kindspan uses measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, passwordless sign-in, row-level database authorization, private file storage, encrypted transport, server-only secrets, bounded service responses, audit context, and source-integrity controls. Access is limited according to role and operational need.
No internet service can promise absolute security. Protect sign-in links and devices, use a private email account, and notify hello@joinkindspan.com if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not use Kindspan for emergency communication.
Kindspan accounts are not directed to children and may be created only by people who are at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through an account. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact hello@joinkindspan.com so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We update this notice when data practices, providers, account capabilities, or applicable requirements materially change. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. We do not treat a future-feature preview as authorization for a new data use.
For privacy questions, requests, or complaints, email hello@joinkindspan.com. Include the account email and enough information to understand the request, but do not email veterinary records, passwords, payment-card information, or government identifiers.
Email us about these terms, privacy choices, accessibility, or an account-data request.
